When you are a small business owner in a world that is constantly changing like ours, it is important to be flexible, to stay on top of the advances in technology and social media, and to make sure that the programs, applications and equipment you use are made for your lifestyle.
When I started my business back in 2011, I was mainly working from a borrowed laptop and saving almost everything on a thumb drive or somewhere safe in my web email account. Sure, that works great for when I have a computer to sit in front of, and some uninterrupted time on my hands, but as I got busier, I realized that there will be days when I need more flexibility than a thumb drive can offer, and taking my laptop with me to a client meeting isn’t always ideal (or easy).
