What's in My Makeup Bag - Suggestions Welcomed!!

I have always liked makeup. I learned how to apply my eyeliner and mascara from a friend at the ripe old age of about 13, and haven't strayed from my application style or makeup must-haves all that much since then. It is a sad truth that my hair takes me about 10 times as long as my makeup does on any given day. Perhaps this is because my morning routine only includes applying about 5 quick things, and I'm out the door.

My "must-haves" merely include liquid and/or powder foundation, eyeliner, mascara, blush and a quick swipe of either chapstick or lip gloss (usually chapstick, let's be honest). I don't know all that much about eyeshadow application, but I dabble in it from time to time. Truth be told, I'd like to learn how to apply a dramatic smoky eye or some awesome neutral tones, but I hardly spend the time needed to do so.

So, let's take a peek inside my bag, and see what I'm using; I'm sure some of you ladies have some suggestions for other products, right?

Foundations
I often use both liquid and powder foundation; not really sure that's necessary, but it's how I roll. What am I using these days? Mainly these ...

Mac Pressed Blot Powder
Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse

Eyeliner & Mascara
I have always liked liquid pencil eyeliners, and recently switched to Maybelline's Unstoppable, and I love it. My mascara of choice is always changing. Right now, I'm totally loving Maybelline's the Falsies Volum Express ...
Unstoppable Eyeliner - I usually buy this at WalMart or Target, but I'm sure it's carried at most places.

the Falsies was recommended to me by my sister, and I LOVE it!
Blush
I should probably be using a Mac blush, or something similar, but have been relying on Victoria Secret's Blush Trio over the last year or so. It works well for a little color, but I am in the market for something a bit more dramatic. Suggestions welcomed, pretty please??
The VS Blush Trio - super cute and affordable!! I currently have this in "Bliss"
So, there you have it, minus a few random eyeshadow colors that I dabble with, and my trusty tube of Burt's Bees lip balm (which is the bomb, by the way), these are the main tools I use to apply my daily "face." I may be in the market for a few new fun products, so please, go ahead and tell me I'm way behind in the makeup world, it's about time I learned a few new tricks!!

I love makeup but am usually a weenie about applying anything dramatic. I would recommend grabbing one of the Clinique eyeshadow duos to dabble with eye makeup if you want to spice things up... there is usually a darker shade and a lighter shade so you can play with a couple of different colors so you can see how you like it.

My normal products are as boring as can be:
Clinique Line Smoothing Concealer
Clinique Perfectly Real Foundation
Physicians Formula Powder
Nars Blush in Orgasm
Black Mascara (I've tried them all)
Eye Makeup, usually MAC or Clinique

My makeup routine is getting pretty stale, now that I think about it...

The Body Shop All in One Face Base is my favorite foundation ever! It's also a powder, so it doesn't feel heavy, but it offers a lot of coverage.

Hi Pamela,

Found your blog by accident, but think its great!

My girlfriend got me this in the Moonlit Jewels colour for Chrissy just gone, and its really nice. Has the more natural colours, but also a green and blue (not sure about the blue!) but is good for a little variety.
It is also the first time I have used a cream eye shadow, and its really nice and smooth. The more you put on the deeper the colour.
Anyhoo, here is the link.

If you have time, wander by my blog :)
