Wednesday Wish List: iPad Users!!

So, I bet you're not surprised that the new iPad 2 is on my current wish list. Isn't it on everyone's? A few of my friends have the original iPad, and they all love it. Naturally, I wanted to wait until the second generation iPad was released before I thought about getting one. Well, we got one in at work last week, and it only took an instant with it for me to fall in love. I'll admit that it spurred me to make a super early Christmas birthday list?!
Do any of you have iPad's? What do you love or hate about them? I'm trying to do some serious field research before B and I adopt one into our family. The best news? B works for a home builder as a Project Manager, so his truck is his office, and there has been some talk around the company about getting the Project Managers iPad's instead of new laptops! Fingers crossed!!

Not sure if I want to jump on the iPad bandwagon yet, but it definitely is NOT in the budget right now!

I do and I love it. It is easier to lug around than my laptop. I also love that I can download books on it. I use the kindle app for it. There is an app for everything. They are most definitely worth it!

I have the first iPad and have had it for a few months now and I love it so much. Best investment I have made in a LONG time.

I LOOOOOOOOVE the iPad! My sister has one and loves it, and I am so jealous. I got a new Apple laptop a few years ago, so I can't yet justify it to my husband to also let me get the iPad, however, I'm not giving up!

Yep, the M's definitely want one of those. Well, I really only want one so that I can strap it to the headrest of the car and Carter can watch movies on it.. Truthfully, between my iPhone and my Kindle, do I really need it? of course not.. but the Gimmies and the Wants are so much more fun than the Needs!! :)

OK. So my company issued all the field engineers (aka scott and I) ipads for use while we are out at site. Our IT has created a ton of apps that are applicable to the work we do. I have to say for the nature of my job it has made my life 100% easier. I no longer have to lug around a million dwgs or waste time on paperwork in the office because we have electronified things. That being said, I don't use my iPad practically at all outside of work. I much prefer my laptop for computing and my kindle for e-reading (since I already own one)...and for all the other things I might want to do on an ipad...I would rather have an iphone since it is smaller and fits better in my purse.

I want an iPad and I don't want an iPad. I could have gotten one over the summer when my laptop died, but got a netbook instead. I'm glad now because well, now they released the 2nd generation. There are still just a few things it doesn't have that I would want to see, so I'm on the fence yet. Maybe someday when my iPod dies. Though I do love my iPod.
